Susan Riley has previously served as Deputy Lord Mayor for the City of Melbourne for 4 years. She considers a highlight of her term helping to negotiate the Milan ?Melbourne Sister City Association.

Her career in publishing includes 10 years working at The Age with Community Newspapers. She is now a principal of Melbourne Media Pty Ltd which publishes 3004 News, 3008 Docklands and Melbourne City Living Guide.

Susan is a passionate advocate for small business in the city. She currently consults, assisting businesses dealing with local government issues. As well as sitting on various committees including the Lord Mayor’s Small Business Proprietor Commendation and the Victorian Local Government Mayoral Chain.

In addition, Susan is the Patron of Help Sri Lanka and an active Rotarian.
